And, the scary thing that is the big flood that is expected to hit residential areas, both rural and urban areas. Also, the cold lava flood at Merapi. And, the equally daunting 'bonus', landslides that often occur at residential areas, so often to cause many casualties.
Friday, November 4, 2011, at 17.00 pm, there had been landslides in Central Java, precisely in Banjarnegara Region, at the Village Argasuka - Banjarnegara District, and Village Pesangkalan - Pagedongan District. Disasters were due to the downpour which flushed the region since 14.00 until 17.00 pm, which causing a cliff as high as 10 meters to slide and befallen on citizens' homes.
This disaster has caused loss of life as many as 2 people, namely Brimin, 25, and Tulus Anjar Setiawan, 5 years old. In addition, also occured material losses of 6 housing units. The BPBD has coordinated with relevant agencies, as well as cooperating with the residents to clean mud and soil materials, on the location of the landslides. As for the dead victims were buried at the local cemetery.
To the victims' families, the local authorities had donated 1 cardbox of instant noodles, ready-to-eat meals, 1 set of mattress, 15 kg rice, 1 sheet of mat, kitchen appliances, and sanitary napkins. This information was obtained from BPBD Central Java.
Bali was strucked by an earthquake, again
On Friday, November 4, 2011, at the same day, on 21:59:54 local time, Bali was again strucked by an earthquake measuring 5.2 magnitude. The epicenter was in 9:18 SL - 115.69 EL (67 km southeast of Nusa Dua - Bali), at the depths of 70 km.
Because the earthquake was relatively not strong enough, and only lasted about 2-3 seconds, the residents were not disturbed from their activities. Here and there, citizens seemed to continue their activities normally. The earthquake was also of no tsunami potential and also did not cause damages.
Big flood in Pesisir Selatan, West Sumatera
