However, who would have thought behind her courageous appearance before the public, she previously was a shy girl. Even when sitting on the fourth grade of elementary school, she did not dare to advance to the front of the class.

The incident was very impressive to Tina's heart. That is why it had never crossed her mind at that time to become a presenter. Moreover, at that time, there had been no books explaining about the profession.

Unlike nowadays, children can learn about the news presenter profession through various books. These books can open children's minds about the wide range of professions. That way, they can determine the focus of their goals from early on.

Interviewed at the event of a book launching titled Aku Menjadi Presenter at Gramedia Bookstore, Jakarta, Tina said that about children who don't dare to advance before the public, she suggested parents not to force them. Besides that, do not scold them, but still provide support and inputs. For the children to be able to appear confident in front of the public, they have to practice a lot.

In the event organized by the publisher, Tina further said that the exercises to perform in front of public is certainly needed. Because, that had been experienced by Tina. Back then, Tina had done so by appearing jointly through an Angklung music performance. Then, joining various organizations in school or college. Organizations can teach her in expressing, having different opinions, criticizing and also public speaking.

Tina was actually aspired like most kids in her time, that was to be an engineer or a doctor. Her dream a little bit came true because she took the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Padjadjaran, Bandung. She also briefly managed to participate in a beauty contest and also to be a finalist of Miss Indonesia 2003. She became a presenter after seeing the job vacancy in one of the private television station.

"The requirement was an S1 graduate without mentioning the major, so I proposed to the vacancy," said Tina. Tina managed to have the job as a news presenter. Still, she did begin from the bottom level. She was often assigned to cover the news. In Tina's eyes, the tasks were very interesting because it pushed her to know various things.

"It's the important capital to become a journalist; there is great curiosity because of wrestling in the world of information. If we don't have it, we could be troubled," said Tina. In addition to having a lot of knowledge and make more acquaintances, through the presenter profession Tina has also been popular.

Hence, it is not the popularity that she has been looking for. She is also not money-oriented in working. Better for her to undergo her work best. "I was once asked about my salary; I said I'm not money-oriented. Indeed, we need it, but it's not the main target. It is better to work best to make achievements, provision will follow indeed," Tina explained.

Not surprisingly, she loves her profession as a presenter. Although sometimes her social life has changed. When people enjoy a holiday feast with family, she still has to work and reporting. But it doesn't make her pulling back from the profession, it has even made her love her job more. Tina hoped, in the future children can do their professions out of necessity, but based on love for their jobs. "Tired physically can still be addressed, but if you are tired by heart because you don't prefer your job, that's the hardest one," said Tina.

Thanks to the love for her job, she got an offer even higher as the manager who handles presenters. Tina has moved to Indosiar per December 1, 2011 to develop a higher career. She was asked to move by her former Associate Editor-in-chief at her previous television station, which is now the Editor-in-chief at Indosiar TV station. In the future, besides taking care of presenters, Tina will also write a new book that can be read by people from various backgrounds. (ms)
