Aimed at young children Indonesia raises interest towards entrepreneurship and self-motivation in youth entrepreneurship, and open the eyes of young people the importance of starting a business at an early age, a seminar with the theme "Being A Young Entrepreneur, Why Not?" was organized.
The subject covered during the seminar was limited to providing motivation why it is important to be entrepreneurial, how to be entrepreneurs at a young age and experience of entrepreneurs - entrepreneurs who had already been plunging into the world of entrepreneurship, as well as a little picture of entrepreneurship in other countries (Japan and China).
The theme of "Being A Young Entrepreneur, Why Not?" is a theme that carried a seminar held in the Hall Student Center, Faculty of Economics, University of Indonesia, Tuesday, February 8, 2011 last. The seminar was organized by AIESEC.
AIESEC is an organization of young people, globally, the largest in the world, spread across 110 countries, engaged in leadership development through exchange programs. AIESEC is an organization that provides opportunities for young people to explore and develop the potential within themselves so as to provide a positive influence on society.
One of AIESEC is PBoX (Based on Project eXchange) where the project is organized with the aim of giving a positive influence on society and educate the public, especially young people about important issues, one that is the issue of an entrepreneur. PBoX this, involving participants of AIESEC exchange, which comes from another country, makes this project different and unique.
The PBoX Entrepreneur: Enlighten Young Future Generation of Entrepreneurs, organized by AIESEC University of Indonesia in collaboration with Enterprise Asia is comprised of 3 events that is opening, learning, and closing.
Seminar on "Being A Young Entrepreneur, Why Not?" the newly established is the opening event of PBoX Entrepreneur. Speakers at the seminar, among others, Sonny B. Sofjan (Founder of PILLAR Business Accelerator), Hendy Setiono (Owners' Baba Rafi '/ Winner of Asia Pacific Entrepreneur Award) and AIESEC' s Exchange Participants (Seiji, from Japan and Carol, from China)
It is expected that after attending this seminar, participants will then be motivated to become entrepreneurs. And, if the participant wants to continue to get knowledge, discussion, and sharing of entrepreneurial ideas with entrepreneurs who have been successful, they can follow the next series of PBoX Entrepreneur, namely Entrepreneurship Clinic: Find Your Own Business.
In this Clinic participants will conduct focus group discussion (FGD) in small groups (5-8 people) where participants freely discuss and exchange ideas with their mentor - who is a successful entrepreneur. Clinic will take place one day, for each group, with a date to be determined according to availability and schedules of members of the group's own mentor, in the period between 20 February 2011-5 March 2011.
After that, proceed with following the closing event of this PBoX the Youth Entrepreneurs Entrepreneur Conference will be held from 4 to 6 March 2011. At this conference, participants will gain knowledge about entrepreneurship from the basic level (basic) to advanced (advance). Ranging from how to generate design a prospective entrepreneur business ideas, seek capital / financial resources, to maintain the business, and so forth, all packaged in a complete and interesting in this conference.
The materials in this conference would be submitted by entrepreneurs will be reliable. Therefore, it can be said PBoX Entrepreneur Entrepreneur This is a One Stop Service in which a person can get everything from motivation-to-useful knowledge about entrepreneurship.
