Earth Hour started in 2007 in Sydney, Australia, when 2.2 million homes and businesses turned their lights off for one hour to make their stand against climate change. The result, at least 40,000 cars were away from roads in a year. You can imagine if 1 billion people start to involve!
As a result, the campaign is expected can be adopted by the other people, community, business, and government in around the world. The movement symbolizes that by working together, each of us can make a positive impact in this fight, protecting our future and that of future generations.
