'Trade Expo Indonesia 2011' Opens New Market Opportunities

Well, for this year the expo will be held on October 19 to 23, 2011 at the Jakarta International Expo, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.

"For this year, we will rise the theme of Remarkable Indonesia (Indonesia Memukau, Ind.)," said Hesti Indah Kresnarini, Director General of Export Development of the Ministry of Trade.

TEI is an exhibition of Indonesia's best international-scale products intended for foreign buyers. In addition to increasing the trades, the exhibition is also held to seek and increase opportunities in new markets while maintaining the old market.

According to Hesti, in this event she targets that the business transactions will be amounting to USD 380 million; the value is considered very relevant since in last year's expo the transaction on the TEI reached USD 300 million, and sales trends from year to year have increased.

"Due to the ever increasing trend, we are optimistic to achieve the target of USD 380 million," said Hesti again.

For example, the main products to be exhibited such as shrimp, coffee, oil palm, cocoa, footwear, electronics, furniture, textiles and textile products, and rubber and rubber products.

As for potential products are like handicrafts, fish and fish products, jewelry, essential oils, stationery. Services and products such as construction and information technology sectors.

"These products are our leading products. Hopefully, through the trade expo that has been held every year, we can further improve the competitiveness of Indonesian products to foreign goods," she said.

In this event, the Featured Products Pavilion, (APU, Ind.) is divided into 4 zones: the creative industries zone, the global brand zone, the eco-product zone and the service zone. Creative industries zone, displaying export products, creative-based on culture and technology. While the global zone brands featuring national brands that have already been worldwide.

During the exhibition, will also be held a trade, tourism and investment (TTI) forum, which will discuss the export potentials. Besides, this event also presents a number of businessmen and industrialists. The forum also plays a role to recognize the potentials of each state-owned export.

The plan was, this international-scale trade expo this year will be attended by 1200 companies, with a target of visitors predicted to reach 25,000 people. (Sbh) (ms)

I and some Pakistani's are attend the last exhibition Trade EXPO held in Jakarta. We are appreciated their arrangements of Government of Indonesia. Very nice Exhibition and I enjoy and see the cultural of Indonesia.
However, It is requested to your kind honors if you have the pictures (Photos) of the Pakistani's visitors please send me being I want to touch with my past. Your cooperation is highly appropriated please.
