Anyone, either an individual or group would want to get paid or honorarium after work, including a group band after they entertain its fans. However, it is different with the El Badr, a music group presenting religious-themed songs. Payment is not a primary thing while to stay in touch with the fans is that matters for them.

Sincere for them is not groundless, the member of El-Badr which are Adji (keyboards), Teten (guitar), Iwan (bass), Chubad (drums), Niza and Chandran (vocals) have always been not getting paid after the show. Even when they perform at other city such as Sukabumi, Bandung, and Majalengka.

According to him, El Badr will not hesitate to perform voluntarily as long as its personnel escorted the shuttle and get meals. It is a commitment of the band. Especially most of the band members graduated from the Darussalam Foundation that known as a foundation that doesn't force it students to pay for school tuition.

If it does not target the fee, how about the operational costs? Adji casually says, "There's only God-given path so that the El Badr still exist until now," he said confidently.

Currently El Badr has launched a religious album with the hit single "Nyanyian Doa'. In the album which was launched in 2009 there are 10 songs including, Nyanyian Doa, Syukuri Apa Yang Kita Dapat, Jalani Hidup Dengan Baik, Sholat, , Ku Bersaksi, Ilmu Pasti, Sesalku, Ampuni Aku, Bunda, and Salam Terima Kasih.

The Ring Back Tone of these songs even existed from various telecommunications providers. In addition to advanced singing - a religious-themed songs, El Badr proved masterful song - another genre that is a pop song. Among the pop songs that are sung El Badr are Putuskan Saja, Temani Aku, Telepon, dan Cerita Lama.

The song entitled Putihkan Hati and Terima Kasih Ya Allah even have been contracted by the Element Band and Anda Bunga.

El Badr used to show in many celebration events held in Garut such as weddings,circumcisions and other events. Even for a gig, El Badr often perform in various areas such as Bandung, Sukabumi and Majalaya in West Java.

El Badr showed at TNOL Care eventEl Badr was founded in 2006 after attending a Muslim Song Creation Competition (LCLM) in Jakarta. At that time El Badr got the first champion to defeat a band of religious groups throughout Indonesia. El Badr has won several competition including first prize of LA Light Festival and music parade that frequently held in Garut.
