10 Tips to Increase Fiber Intakes

IT CANNOT BE DENIED that vegetables and fruits are sources of antioxidant that play an important roles in preventing premature aging. But many of us do not like to consume them.

Here are a several tips that may help to increase your fruits and vegetables intakes.

1. When having cereals or yogurt, add bananas, strawberries, or your favorite fruits.

2. On each meal, do not forget to include vegetables, whatever they are, as long as they are rich in fiber.

3. Upon having your main dessert, try to eat the vegetables first before the rice. Thus the possible number of eating more vegetables can happen.

4. When sauteing vegetables, add a little animal protein such as shrimp, chicken, or beef so the vegetables will be more tasty.

5. When making soup, add carrots, tomatoes, broccoli, as a complement.

6. When making pancakes or puddings, add fresh fruits. For pudding sauce, use a fruit sauce. It also applies when making muffins.

8. Create savory burgers or sandwiches, with tomatoes, lettuces, or leaf lettuces.

9. For having snacks, take fruits instead of fried foods, chocolate or cakes.
