Fulfilled the 35 years of works in this country, Ramli not only held a fashion show of his work but also launched a travel book of his life. Designers who never gave up even though he was suffering from colon cancer is directly held a ceremony to coincide with Valentine's Day, February 14, 2011 and then in the Grand Ballroom, Hotel Dharmawangsa, Jakarta.

The event was attended by the officials, businessmen to celebrities. Ramli Sarwi Gozali Kartowidjojo - his full name -  looks very healthy and fresh welcomed the guests while wearing a pink scarf.

Some time ago, through one of mass media, Ramli said that he is now healthy. And, his health remarked by the launch of a book written by Albertiene Endah . The book reveals Ramli's journey of life. He claimed to have lost the spirit. Although he had a wheelchair, he remains optimistic that the disease will be cured and he can work again.

"Thank God, after a year, I ventured to undergo surgery performed by Professor Doctor Mutthalib. This surgery took 8.5 hours. And intestine that interfere with my activities successfully removed as much as 15 centimeters," said Ramli who had just received MURI award, as a pioneer developer of embroidery kebaya of Archipelago.

"But thankfully, I was given a long life" he said. Ramli, 60 years old now and it still works. For him, recovering his health is a second life.

That night, a lot of spit Ramli sincere smile, he feels happy because his friends came to attend the launch of a book as thick as 300 pages for "Ramli 35 Years of Work". And, that night, about 70 fashion fashion design, Ramli is presented with a bandage of love, compassion, and spirit. As usual, the design is often promoted the beauty of embroidery and needlework, which was placed as the beauty of fashion appeal.
