“Butterfly Momma” at Hongkong Fashion Week

The Asia’s largest fashion event, HKTDC Hong Kong Fashion Week for Fall/Winter, will take place during 17-20 January 2011 to present the world with the latest trends of the fashion industry.
Hong Kong Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2011 is the world's second largest and Asia's largest fashion event organized by the HKTDC and held at the HKCEC, the Hong Kong Fashion Week for Fall / Winter offers a fantastic spread of the very latest in apparel, accessories and fashion-related products from high-end fashion to mass merchandise, to buyers from all over the world. The event represented presents more than 1714 exhibitors from 21 countries and 21.418 visitor
s and attended by 87 countries.
On this occasion, the Indonesian designer, Ika Mardiana enliven this event. The designer who settled in Hong Kong and Bali will featuring more than 80 collections entitled "Butterfly Momma". The works were inspired by the Miao ethnic traditions combined with the nuances of art and crafting that characterizes Ika.
About 15 lanky models of Hong Kong, China, Croatia and Indonesia demonstrate the clothing designed by Ika. Ika is also collaborating with Tegep, designer boots from Bandung featuring beautiful boots in accordance with "Butterfly Momma" theme. ika also invited some models in this fashion show.
As is known, Ika is a world's class Indonesian fashion designers who have long settled in Hong Kong. Ika created the brand titled Ika Butoni together with her partner. Ika also initiated the Bali Fashion Week and the Senior Executive Committee of the Hong Kong Fashion Designers Association. The plan, after featuring her "Butterfly Momma" collections, she will participating the New York Fashion Week 2011on next February.
