One of the valuable objects is watch. Besides useful as a clock, a watch can also indicate the status of a person who uses it. Not surprisingly, the watch could become a lifestyle and is regarded as special acessories.

Well, to be able to share information related to watches. The fans of watch form a community for mutual sharing. Kronometrofilia is a community which means, Krono = chronos = time. Metro = m = meter. Philia = lover. So, Kronometrofilia means the lovers of measuring time. And, as connotative, it means the Indonesian watch lovers.

As a place for sharing information on watchThe name Kronometrofilia was firstly appeared in yahoogroups on May 29, 2009. However, the name was officially adopted on June 7, 2009. So far, member of this community reached 446 people. They came from a variety of professions, status, ethnicity and race, such as doctors, journalists, lawyers, bankers and others. Their ages also varied from the young to the elderly.

Considering they only communicate through the virtual world, then every two or three months, they held gathering. Usually, they held a meeting in Bandung, West Java or Jakarta. And, yesterday's mid-February, the community held a gathering at a café in Jl Jaksa, Central Jakarta.

"We can get many benefits by joining the community, like sharing each other," Dr. Willia, Sp.Rad, who served as moderator of the community said to TNOL.

Become a valuable collectionSharing information, continued by Dr. William, Sp.Rad, because many of the watches - especially the old watches - are not original anymore, because it have been through various processes.

"By joining this community, the members can share information whether the watch is still outstanding, including original or not. Moreover, recently a lot of counterfeit watches invaded Indonesia," he said.

Regarding ancient counterfeit watches, Dr William tells, a few months ago, Indonesia invaded the watch belonging to ancient and higher value. However, the number of ancient watches is high and it's easily found in the market.

It almost perfect watches with different details. However, after sharing information among the members plus a variety of reference it was found that it is not the original watch.

Dr William.."So there are people who make at imitation with excellent quality then we remind each other," he said.

Related to history, as each watch are produced such as those made timepiece manufacturers of Russia, will tell you about the condition of the country, such as conflicts or rebellions that often hit the country.

While related to the philosophy of life, because the clock always shows the time that continues to flow. Moreover, every watch can not only show time, but also can indicate altitude in a mechanical system.

"So the clock is like a living thing has a philosophy of each," he explained.
