AHMT, The Place For Honda Communities

The mushrooming of Honda communities in Tangerang inspired the main dealer of Honda, Wahana, to form the Association of Tangerang Honda Motor (AHMT). The association was founded on last October 3, 2010 after delayed for two years. The declaration was held in Metropolis area, Tangerang.
Bagus Soedjatmoko from the Kharisma Fans Club is appointed as the coordinator while Budi from GLO as the vice coordinator. "AHMT is group of Honda riders in Tangerang. We are under the umbrella of Wahana," Bagus said to TNOL at Wahana Cimone, Saturday night (1/22).
Some of communities join the AHMT are HSX 125 Community Tangerang, Tangerang Supra Club, HMPCI Tangerang, Blead Rider Club Tangerang (Brict), Kharisma Fans Club, Honda Beat Club Tangerang, BSX 125 Community, Balaraja Honda Matic Club (Bhatic), Honda CS One Tangerang,Tangerang Revo Club (Track) and GL Pro (GLO). Each club is subjected Rp10,000 for monthly fee.
The fund will be used for providing information on HHMT activities through the SMS center. SMS center is managed by PR and coordinator of AHMT. The community gather every third week. They used to gather in Wahana Cimone or Tanah Tinggi. The gathering event used to attended by 15 to 25 members of each community. "And even more," Adi Sumaryo from HSK 125 Community Tangerang explained. At least 100 of bikers were attending the gathering event.

Well, the street flocked by bikes while they passed. However, they always prioritizing safety riding by wearing a standard helmet, boots and gloves. Not to forget to obey traffic regulations.
“That way, we can give positive impression to peple that we are a good community," Bagus explained. During the gathering, Bagus explained, they used to discuss on future plan like touring. AHMT never had touring together before. However, they had conducted charity event by providing donations to orphanages and sahur on the road.
