The idea from Sampoerna of making a van as a karaoke place is indeed somewhat unique. For the sake of entertaining people, it was conducted and held in a competition with prizes, really entertaining.....!

Folk entertainment is often anticipated by most of the people. Moreover, if the entertainment is not charged aka for free. It certainly will attract more people to enjoy it.
Well, recently the van from Sampoerna Kretek Asyiiik Festival had visited the Complex of Cooperative Tofu Tempe Indonesia (Kopti, Ind.) at the Endar Store, located in RT04/11 No. 30, Semanan, West Jakarta.
The 'karaoke' van, got a warm welcome from residents of the Kopti complex. No wonder, when the car was still in preparation, the people in the area had crowded the arena. They were ready to welcome the various competitions held like dancing, karaoke and lypsinc.

As the chairman of RT, Sodikin had socialized to its citizens to participate. Sodikin too, did not hesitate to stop in the residents' houses to tell about the event. "I conveyed the info, all orally," explained Sodikin to TNOL.
Before the competition began, Sodikin entertained the people with some songs. It was seen that Sodikin was quite an expert in vocal processing. RT04 residents felt comforted over his singing. In addition to the chairman of the RT, they were also entertained by a singer through songs such as Indonesian or Mandarin like the song Yue Liang Thai Piao Wo Te Sin popularized by Teresa Teng.

First participants attending were a couple and their neighbor. They were David Octavianus, Mina and Aseng. The three straightly went to the dancing area. They swayed as they received support from the audience. After dancing, they headed for the next stage, the lypsinc.
Since the lypsinc took place in the van, then each group sent its representatives as much as two people. In the car, they simply read the text that appeared on the TV screen placed inside. They were also free to express the song. On average, the song which was brought a lot was Keong Racun, the song that popularized in lypsinc by Shinta-Jojo.
First winner, Dekres team gets the cash prize...Time kept rolling, until it was time to the end of the show. The jury began to get ready to calculate the points. While waiting for the announcement, the audience was entertained by a variety of songs. Finally, the jury has found three groups that were entitled to be the winners.
First winner eligible for money amounting to IDR 500 thousand, the second winner to earn IDR 300 thousand and third winner was to earn IDR 200 thousand. Dekres was the group to win the first place, Lambe as the second winner and Ajojing on the third place. Later on, the first prize winner would perform again with other winners to compete for the regional championship. (Sbh)
